Refund policy
Last updated 20 September 2026
This page explains when you get your money back on VibeSMS, and how to ask if something goes wrong.
If no code arrives
Every number is held for about 20 minutes. If no code arrives before the timer ends, the number is cancelled and the full price is returned to your wallet automatically. You do not need to ask.
If you no longer need a number
You can cancel a waiting number yourself at any time before a code arrives, and the full price goes back to your wallet. Some numbers cannot be cancelled in the first two minutes after they are issued. If that happens, wait a moment and try again, or let the timer run out for the automatic refund.
Once a code has been delivered
When a code has arrived on your number, the purchase is complete and is not refundable, because the service has been delivered.
Your wallet balance
Money in your wallet is used to buy numbers and is kept until you use it. Refunds for numbers always go back to your wallet. Wallet balances are not paid out as cash except where the law requires it. Top-ups start at ₦1,000, so you only need to add what you expect to use.
Payment problems
- Charged but not credited. If a payment went through but your wallet was not topped up, message us. We check the payment with our payment provider, Bachs, and credit it.
- Charged twice by mistake. Tell us the details and we will look into it and put it right.
- A payment that failed or was cancelled. If your bank took money for a payment that Bachs shows as unsuccessful, your bank will normally return it. Message us if it does not.
How to ask for help
Message us from the chat bubble on any page (see Contact). Please include the email on your account and roughly when it happened, so we can find it quickly.
